To Complete Registration

To ensure complete registration please follow these steps:

1. Fill out the form completely.

2. Select “Next” at the bottom of the page.

3. A verification page will appear. Review the information and select “Confirm” at the bottom of the page.

4. A payment page will appear. If you select to pay online with credit/debit card you will be re-routed to OSU’s secure payment gateway. Once you have provided the payment information, there will be a link at the bottom of the screen after payment is completed that will route you back to the registration system. You will then see a letter of confirmation on the screen. It will also be emailed to the address provided. A separate email titled "Notification of Payment" will be sent to the email address you specified in the credit card portion of the registration process.

5. If you select “Invoice” an invoice will be emailed to the address provided within 5-7 business days. A letter of confirmation will appear on the screen and will be delivered to your inbox as well.

6. If you are part of Oregon State University, you may select "Index". A box will pop up and you will provide your index and activity code (if applicable). A letter of confirmation will appear on the screen and will be delivered to your inbox as well.


Please note that the letter of confirmation gets emailed to the email address you provided at the top of this form.

Berry Sessions

Join us for a half day special event that targets those in the berry industry, corporate executives, the media and anyone else who would like to learn more about berries and health and how to communicate the research in this growing field effectively. Four sessions will be offered covering Marketing using berry research findings, Understanding berry health terminology, A strategic road map for developing health statements for berries and a Current Research Forum.

NEED UPDATED REGISTRATION FEE AND DETAILS

The registration fee of $200.00 includes intensive Berry Sessions running from 9:00am until 5:00pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Also included are lunch, breaks and all related materials.

Berry Health Benefits Conference Registration

Scientific presentations from around the globe with cutting edge information on how berries positively impact human health and wellness. During the day and a half program thirty speakers will present their most current work in clinical, basic and applied research. Sessions on Berries and Heart Health, Cancer, Metabolism, Brain Aging, Gut Health/Microflora and Compositional Chemistry/Biological Effects will be featured.

Keynote Dinner (Included in registration fee)

An outstanding presentation relating further research and new knowledge on berries and health. Our Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Amy Howell, Associate Research Scientist at the Marucci Blueberry and Cranberry Research and Extension Center of Rutgers University. Dr. Howell is known for her groundbreaking work on cranberry proanthocyanidins (PAC’s). Dr. Howell’s keynote address will be “ Cranberry - To the Bladder and Beyond!”

Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Tour

The Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Tour: Cranberry Harvest Tour and Closing Dinner – Enjoy the beauty of fall in Wisconsin and experience the excitement of cranberry harvesting while visiting two local farms, one harvesting for fresh market and the second for the processed market. A visit to other cranberry processing and history sites will be followed by a closing reception and dinner. This full day tour will include bus transportation, lunch and dinner.

2013 INFO:
A tour including the North Carolina Research Campus laboratories, Healthy Cooking Demonstration and more will be offered on Thursday afternoon, June 20, 2013. Registration for this tour is $100.00 and includes dinner at an Appalacian Style Lodge. For tour details please see www.berryhealth.org. Please indicate below if you would like to attend the tour.

Airport Shuttle

ARE YOU DOING THIS AGAIN?

We are offering a shuttle service from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport to the Embassy Suites Hotel for the Berry Health Benefits Symposium. Shuttles will be offered free of charge courtesy of the Cabarrus County Visitors Bureau.

Taxi service would cost $55.00 each way so this is a considerable savings on transport to and from the hotel.

Greeters will be available at the airport to welcome BHBS attendees, direct you to the shuttles and answer questions about the area.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests need to be made in writing via email or fax no later than 5:00 p.m. (PST) on Friday, May 17, 2013. Requests made on or before the date listed above will receive a refund of their registration minus a $50.00 administrative fee. Cancellations after 5:00pm on the date listed will not be granted a refund. Substitutions may be allowed.
